What To Expect

Howdy, Austin! It’s SXSW time. It’s also the start of our 50th year of business unusual. We’re excited to celebrate right here in our Austin retail store. Join us for conversations around regenerative organic agriculture, corporate and grassroots activism—and the importance of weaving environmental and social justice into the fabrics we wear.

Bring your cup for happy hour(s) and that old jacket you’ve been meaning to repair (our Worn Wear crew will show you how). Fun runs, coffee, tacos, screen printing, and a glimpse into what we’re asking ourselves: What’s Next?

Sunday begins with a Trash Trot. Yep, you guessed correctly! At 8:30 AM, we’ll head to the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail on ancestral Jumanos, Coahuiltecan, Nʉmʉnʉʉ Sookobitʉ, Ndé Kónitsąąíí Gokíyaa and Tonkawa lands. After two hours of litter cleaning, we’ll gather back at the store for coffee. From 10 AM through 4:30 PM, we’ll have opportunities to learn from the Trail Conservancy, Austin Bat Refuge, Ecology Action and the Central Texas Mycological Society, plus Worn Wear repairs (through 4 PM).

When: Sunday, March 12, 2023
Where: Patagonia Austin, 316 Congress Avenue
Time: 8:30 AM - 6 PM

Full event schedule below...
